Bugs I think I've fixed:
- Fainting crash!
- Cum staining crotchless underwear instead of going through it
- Map incorrect behaviour on changing levels, getting dragged, maps disabled in settings
- Dolls, tentacle monster were sometimes ignoring gags
- Plug panties were wearable over female chastity belt
- Cowgirl bikini constantly breaking then respawning at high breast sizes
- Minotaur appeared locked in cage after pregnancy scene
- Latex plug panties from shopkeeper didn't add orifice openness on insertion
- Examining self in capsule before pressing button was showing side images
- "Soft ground" traps that were in the woods in previous iterations were appearing in the dungeon retaining their old trigger method
- Typos!
- In some situations you can infinitely play with your breasts (when unable to otherwise masturbate)
- Cowbell seems to love causing crazy shit to happen
- Pregnancy not complete for all monsters
Bugs reported that I have yet to replicate:
- Diapers appearing when watersports is turned off
- I assume there are more that I've missed out on adding to my TODO list, please report them again!
Right I'm off to bed now, and then tomorrow I'm hoping to get through the huge backlog of emails I need to respond to and update the requests list! And then I'm back onto coding the requests I've promised you lovely donators.

ReplyDeleteYou know... you said you just finished with your finals. I respect your decision to get right back into the game (pun intended), but it's better to get a "short break" now than later. Adding a few days of "inactivity" now isn't that big of a deal. That said, taking a break isn't "inactivity". When I first put out my story, the first thing I did was start playing a new game. Since no one reported a game breaking bug, I was basically "inactive" for a week. In short, I think that deciding when a break is needed is also important. Finals are tough and not everyone can just continue with other work immediately after.
Welcome back, thankyou so much for the update! I regularly play with lactation, and I haven't really seen the cowbell cause too much mayhem, but I am not sure what I should be looking for. However, Only once have I seen a variant of diaper appear in my games (and I don't play with watersports). So for me too that is confirmed but very very rare.
ReplyDeleteIt can (and still does) mess with friendly amazons. They get attracted by the bell, try to block you from leaving a room before realising they like you and then let you pass. Then you move to the next room, the sound call them, they block you, etc...
DeleteBasically as long as they keep following you it takes two turns to move every room instead of one.

ReplyDeleteThe selection for minimum penis size goes 1 inch, 2 inches, 4, inches, unlike the ealier releases' 1,3,4 order, and when 2 inches is selected doesn't stop your penis from shrinking to 1. This was in the previous release as well.

Greeting someone breaks the game now. It didn't last version. Makes it so that all inputs are now invalid including move related ones (even when not stuck).

DeleteUnfortunately, no. I just diagnosed the (rather obvious) cause for the bug since you said it only happens when the requirements for the TG (the game TGs you when you faint) are met. If it's something specific for that, only aika can fix it since aika is the one coding the game. I'm just another betatester like everyone else. Otherwise, it might still be the "generic" crashing bug which some people tend to have. aika tries his/her best to fix it, but it's hard to fix something if you can't reproduce it.

ReplyDeleteTwo bugs I've encountered: 1. When high bimbo score, stuck on a dildo, and wearing chastity belt (as female ofc), guards will ignore belt and will proceed to double-penetrate. 2. Not sure what caused this, but I figure it had something to do with inventory. Wearing cow ears, cow print bikini, ballet shoes, and nightie, a diaper spawns from nightie, and it's labeled with (cleverly stolen. please report bug.)

DeleteTo be honest, the second issue occurred in 140225. I presumed that it would occur in the latest build again since I didn't see fixes related to this. I'll try to keep future bug reports strictly to the latest release.

It seems kind of weird that you can displace your underwear in front of a hostile guard, and he'll still try to hit you if you aren't kneeling.

DeleteThey tell you to kneel, and hit you if you don't. Pretty simple. I'm guessing they don't care too much whether you're trying to keep your underwear in one piece during the encounter.
DeleteUnfortunately, I'm still getting freezes after being attacked by the monster in the lake (at the point mid-scene where it pauses and waits for you to press Enter). Despite having the debug messages enabled, none of them appear.

ReplyDeleteAika. Right, so it was eight months ago that release 5 version 1.5 came out, then a half finished release 6 version 0.5 four months ago. Three weeks ago, you said you'd take a look at backlogged e-mails, update a list, then return to coding. Back in December, I sent you an e-mail detailing five things I would be interested in seeing in the game, totaling over $150. You still haven't responded to that. You haven't read the PMs I sent you on TFGames site back in February either. Now, I've been following the game since near the end of release 1, so I know you used to be pretty damn frequent with updates.

I imagine that you're burnt out, but don't want to come out and say "sorry guys, TQ is dead," because you might regret it later. That's all well and good, but anticipation here is high, and I think most people would rather have an honest (albeit disappointing) answer now than maintaining false hopes indefinitely.
I'm just going to ask straight out: are you done with TQ for the foreseeable future?
I think Aika is entitled to a little break from work after passing a collage course and has worked on the game while getting a diploma. I was going to ask for a little news my self because it had been a while but to expect a whole update for the game is a little much. I guess this just show how excited some people are about this game and how much they want this FREE GAME do well and continue.
DeleteAs contentious as it might be to raise this point, people who have donated money might actually be entitled to ask how things are going. Anyone else? Sure, they can just sit there and wait, but if you're going to run a kickstarter type thing, you can at least give your backers pseudo-regular updates. I'm not one of them, so I don't actually know that Aika isn't via PMs/emails, but if I had, I'd want to know what was happening. Particularly since the 'current requests' page has been up for seven months and I can count 11 original (non-italicised) requests that still aren't implemented.

I've just closed on the job opportunity I mentioned in a previous post and so will be entering "normal" working lifeshortly and iin the meantime will have large amounts of free time. I've also now finished my final exams. I've been working on and off on expanding the hotel level but it's still far in my view from anything that could be released (and still causes the freezing bug if I include the code). I have decided instead to focus on donators requests and release another interim version with a decent amount of content as soon as I feel that enough new content exists to justify asking you all to play the game some more and test it for me.

Even so, it's by far my favorite game on TFGames (actually the only one I play these days) and I'd hate to see it go to waste by inaction. I plan to rewrite and resend my e-mail, though I understand you don't want features that overlap too much (TQ is a game for you to learn the language, right?) so is it possible for you to update the submissions list in the near future? That should help me clean up my requests a bit, as I'm not satisfied with copy/pasting the e-mail again.

Just general advice: Always ask before donating. I'm probably not the only person who "discussed" the request first. Basically, just ask when and how much you should donate. I guess in most cases it would be a simple confirmation alá "Should I send the 30$ for the trap we discussed now?"

It's more of an issue of overlapping content than having to swap money back and forth. For example, say I wanted to submit something along the lines of an overbearingly dominant woman with a taste for whips. Looking at the current upcoming features list tells me that niche is already to be filled by the dominatrix. Obviously everything is going to be discussed before it goes through at all, but I'd like a clear picture so that we can get varied content in, and I'm not dumping suggestion after suggestion that Aika has to keep rejecting because something similar already exists.
