Slave Collar

The slave collar now exists in the game but only appears through the "bondage prisoner" starting option. It slightly increases bimbo and of course stops you wearing another neck slot item.
To balance out bondage prisoner, only one of handcuffs and anklecuffs will appear at random. Hopefully that makes it actually playable (and a decent strategy for those going for a virgin play through thanks to the chastity belt).
Testing is going relatively well; game breaking bugs are few and far between. There are a couple of super weird things happening every now and then that I can't debug but they don't affect gameplay so I'm considering them low priority.
My current plan is to release in around 24 hours' time and then I'm busy for most of the weekend, and then I'll come back Sunday evening and fix all the horrendous bugs you've found.

  4. YAY ! but have you fixed the bugs where if you have a cused pacifier the dolls can still use your mouth, and you can still lick your face clean, but you cant drink..

  6. I appear to be receiving a bug with the blog that's labeling your posts as from the 12 of November (Wednesday) even though I know you posted this earlier today/tonight/whatevertimezoneshenanigans.

    I dunno if that's something you can fix, or even if it's a problem specific to me or not, or whether you actually care because it's not like it makes that much of a difference when the time of the comments are working and an investigative sort can figure it out.... But I thought you might just maybe want a heads-up about it just in case.

  7. This might be a dumb question, but what does the slave collar do? Prevent removing bondage items? Increase humiliation? Cause mind control? Explode your head a la Fallout? For that matter, could you explain the bondage prisoner starting option in more detail as well?

    2. The "Bondage prisoner" is already in the game. Its the bondage Fetish you can select in the beginning. When selecting that fetish, you start with Anklecuffs, handcuffs, pacifier and chastity belt. They are all cursed and cant be removed unless the altar is used. They increase the difficulty of the game alot. (play the game and you'll find out)

    3. The slave collar probably has other effects that make it tougher for the character. Presumably, Aika has left those to the imagination for now so we can figure them out on our own.

    4. Like every fetish option, starting in bondage grants you bonus points at a price. It's really one of the toughest options right now, because you can't do anything reliably when you start gagged, handcuffed and anklecuffed.

      I never got anywhere with it in several games, unlike my many latex encased runs which actually give me an edge early on.
      This balance tweak making you either hand- or anklecuffed may change that.

  8. Maybe bondage prisoner should be you start the game with no bondage items or just one. Maybe the collar or chastity belt. Then every time you faint a new piece is placed on you that can never be removed. A high risk and reward as your starting off with a bunch of free points, but eventually the game will become unplayable if you faint too much.

    2. I almost want chastity to be in its own category, I feel like the negatives from the double cuffs is almost too much to compensate for, maybe have the chastity option reduce the points given at the start as compensation for the lack of risk to female virginity...

    3. The chastity belt is a great item for female players, but its a pretty awful one for male players, especially if they haven't selected the TG fetish. Being able to manually remove your horniness is a much bigger deal for male players, and it doesn't help that male players don't get bonuses for keeping their virginity intact.

      The limitations of the bondage fetish are perfectly fair for female players, and to a lesser degree players that choose the TG fetish. Possibly, the points that male players are given for the selecting the fetish could be increased, but a better solution would probably be to give male players some reason(aside from eventually turning it into a virginity shield) to wear a chastity cage.

    4. Manually reducing horniness advantages males because they're less likely to have anal orgasms.

      And the belt isn't always great - sex drive builds up and starts affecting INT if you're got no way to relieve it.

    3. Yep, and they are both forced upon you by using fetishes. Except the catsuit actually has an advantage (heel skill), whereas the slave collar is just a burden.

      and "Realistically" :S its a game and every individual playing this has different tastes, i tend to like bondage

    6. This discussion has give me an interesting thought (in my opinion anyway), how about an alchemy item that when used guarantees the next item picked up is either blessed or cursed? That would give incentive for trying on items like the collar that normally someone playing to win would avoid.

    7. That actually sounds like a pretty dope idea previous Anon, and having it blessed would make it always blessed and vice versa (I would think anyways). The blessed version would be rather powerful however, and also, would it immediately affect a costume item spawned onto the player?

  13. When you post the release, could you also post a list of what information would be helpful to you for debugging if an issue is found? That is if more than a general description of the problem would be helpful.

    3. It's not retarded to take things literally, most people would interpret it as a day or less. But Aika did mention testing and stuff, and that can vary in how long it takes, so yeah.
