Surprise 1: More coloured text
I recently found a way to get a couple more custom text colours. I'm still experimenting with what colours the text should actually be, but I'm happy with my decision for now to use the colours to highlight monsters and items.
Surprise 2: Ass images!
Yes yes you've all been asking for it, and I've been secretly working on this for a while now. You can now all go and see what you think of my first attempt. It's been surprisingly difficult to give a sense of ass size with a cropped image, since asses are only really 'large' when compared to the waist and torso of the owner. But I've tried my best. Ass images are all of females, and show ass openness and pussy openness. You can enable ass images for males but this is disabled as default because, well, you don't have a vagina, so the image is lying. Also you can disable the more gross gaping images that comes with high amounts of ass openness and pussy openness if you want with a separate option.
Surprise 3: Images on the side!
This is an experimental feature based on the code in Scipio's example of how to create a realistic image. I haven't done any of that clever overlaying stuff, all I've done is use the stuff on having a graphical window on the side. I'm calling it an experimental feature because I think lots of people's screens aren't really big enough to support it and have it look nice. And I'm not sure if everyone's interpreted supports it. So it's defaulted to 'off' for now.
Anyway, go to the download page to grab the new version. When you have your bug reports, please check if they've already been reported then post them here rather than emailing me because I'm expecting there to be lots of common bugs - it's too big a game for me to test on my own in much of a meaningful way any more.
If there are any massive game breaking bugs, I hope they're found quickly because I'm away from my main PC for the weekend and so won't be able to upload a new version until Monday.
Hotfix bug fixes:
- Couldn't turn gape images off
- Cow print boots appearing regardless of heels already worn
- Lactation wasn't actually soaking clothing with milk
- At max breast size, flesh was replacing milk without forcing it to be lactated
- Cowbell was attracting monsters, even friendly or sleeping ones, in a silly infinite loop
- You could faint whilst resting on furniture and get stuck in a weird loop
- With new milk production stuff, if white is a beneficial drink colour you can do some pretty abusive stuff. So, now there is a 40% chance that the can produced by the milking bench will be cursed.
- Mannequin putting scrunchie in hair triggered an error
- Scrunchies, cow ears in hair prevented hair description when examining self
- Ass image option displayed "OFF" instead of "ON"
To the people who have emailed me in the last few weeks, I really do apologise and will be going back through my backlog of emails in the coming week, and will attempt to reply to you all.
To finish off, here's a list of things I'm looking for feedback on:
- Orifice soreness, hair colour, make up decay timings
- New attacking system balancing issues
- Humiliation - does it tend to max out even if you're always picking the less humiliating option?
- Monsters are a bit better at chasing now, is it too difficult to escape?
- Are there any verbs you tried to use but the actual verb the game understands is something else?
And finally, a quick list of stuff you shouldn't bother trying right now because it's not implemented:
- Getting pregnant from the vines or tentacle monster
- The hotel level
- Preserving virginity
- New stuff for Barbara
- Meaningful interaction from characters you've had children with (just slight flavour changes at the moment)

DeleteTry loading a R5 v1.0 save in v1.5 for example. It doesn't work.
It might seem neat to be able to do this, but looking at it in a practical sense is virtually impossible.
There are too many changes between the versions to make it feasible.
Besides... This isn't a JRPG where you put 100 hours in one savefile or anything like that.
What does it mean when the demoness channels energy into her necklace and stares at you? Is she healing herself?

DeleteJust as info: I'm writing this up while playing so it might go on for a bit and even be a bit disjointed:
ReplyDeleteNot sure if this wasn't already the case in previous releases, but if you flee to the royal chambers when a guard chases you he will lose interest, but then immediatly tell you to come over to his room (throne room), meaning that he'll camp there until you come out (or it takes at least as long to make him lose interest as it would normally).
Short form: I think the guard circumvents the "anti-stalking" function of the royal chambers because he gets another "aggro" immediatly after entering the royal chambers.
Random note: I thought bra destruction was changed in R6? Yet my AA cup training bra still destroyed the blessed tube top ._. (Or maybe it's because a tube top?)
I think im taking a break here... don't want to be tired of the game soon after the release.
First off I'd just like to say thanks for putting this out there. It's awesome to see someone tackling making a game with some of these fetishes.

Sorry this is a bug, the only way to uncurse right now would be getting lucky at the woods altar. Or defeating the witch if you already have the 'fuck' skill from the shopkeeper.

DeleteAnother bug is that cow-print boots keep spawning whether you're already wearing footwear or not. Ended up wearing 4 pairs in one game.

Disabling ass images doesn't seem to do anything for female. When I leave only belly images on the ass images are still showing up as well.

With Winglulxe you can use the up arrow key to scroll through previously used commands. That's the best you can get afaik.
DeleteShowing a list of "most used commands" would need to be done by aika. The interpreter shouldn't be capable of compiling such a list without some extra information.

DeleteIt looks like you can't remove a diaper once you put it on unless you use it at least once. It doesn't seem to matter if its cursed or not. Is this a bug? Also, diapers with holes in them can't be removed at all.

I like the addition of the wardrobe to the Royal Chambers. It can help players store and sort any useful Item's. Right now I have not put enough time into checking out all of the new items in detail, but so far I am enjoying the updated game. I would like to see different picture's for some of the enemies in the game. Like more pic's for the Wench, Gladiator, and Guards. As they are the ones you see and fight the most, unless you find away to get out side the dungeon.( How do we get out of the dungeon?)

You could also find all the items by digging through the code for them, like Aika would have to do.
DeleteWell... at least for the R5 items one would only need to boot up a game and use "purloin all" and then look at the inventory... Not sure if you included rooms and everything in "items" but thats the easiest way to do it as a "user" right now.

Obviously it's choking on something there. I actually had a worse situation in the previous major release: I managed to pick up two things of the same name.
My thinking would be to number them if you ever have two overly similar items, but ehh, I have no idea how this stuff works.
In your case you can just type "l pvc heels" and "l leather heels". The problem is when they are the same type.
DeleteThe last time I tried picking up the very same item twice the game told me that it would be a bad idea to do so.
DeleteIn other words: As long as it allows you to pick it up there should be a distinction between them (like leather and pvc)
Jewelry and lube is exempt from this rule, since the game does start to simply pile them together as "2 rings" (iirc).
The $500k countdown seems to be missing unless I'm stupid.

DeleteIt can't really be that high, since i put maybe like 3 points in intelligence when starting the game and my character could still remember.
DeleteIt's either also dependent on how much time already passed (It's easier to approximate 5 seconds than 5 minutes) Or a character needs to turn rather dumb for them to not remember anymore.
(just FYI but 3 points in Intelligence doesn't mean you'll start with 3 raw intelligence ingame)

This particular time it took forever to continue, much more than the usual slowness (I thought it was hung), despite me hitting entire. I did start to type "undo" first, dunno if that was a factor.
Glad you put this out early for everyone, and I'm liking the additions.
ReplyDeleteThough, I think diapers need some tweaking as right now I'm not sure I see what benefit there is to using them. My issues are two-fold:
1. They seem to have the durability of a thong vs. the dildo pole. For me at least, they've gotten a hole in them every time from them. Now since you can't take them off until they've been used a couple times, this is kind of problematic as your chances of hitting a dildo pole are pretty high and a diaper with a hole is rather detrimental to the player.
2. They don't have much actual benefit. Finding the toilet or the lake in time before you pee isn't much of a challenge, you're given plenty of warning, and even if for whatever reason you can't reach one, going off into the corner of the dungeon to wee on the floor isn't that much a mark against you.
My suggestion would be to up the durability of diapers. The fact you can't take them off easily, used ones make you heavier, and the risk of cursed ones should balance it easily, I mean logically, they should be the most durable underwear you can have sans the latex ones.
Also consider adding a surprise wetting mechanic (unless this is already in and I just didn't experience it), that would cause your character to have a chance to pee under certain conditions. Like when an aggressive enemy spots you your when triggering a pole/crotch hit trap you run the risk of peeing in fear/surprise with the chances increasing for how desperate you are.
I guess that could imbalance things in the other direction by making them too good, but it would make the "you need to pee" condition a much greater concern.
Also a minor bug, I was at the lake, and I tried to pee the diaper, but instead just pee'd in the lake, which okay, but... I can't take off the diaper without using it. Hurm.
Also also, for those wondering another way to be gagged is to ask the guard a second question too soon. (but yeah it's bugged and can't be removed as it should).

Haven't played with diapers yet, but I can tell you that the fairies in the forest can and will have you make a run for the next best pee spot.

ReplyDelete1) I gave birth to the minotaur's child and the minotaur took the child and appeared to leave the game. Is this what happened? Did this make it so I can't beat the game?
2) I noticed that this release included what seems to be the first consensual sexual act i.e. where the other participant will accept no as an answer. Namely deepthroating the shopkeeper.
