Art is great, only thing that bothers me is fat legs. If it's not about weight gain fetish - legs should be definitely more slim.
ReplyDeleteI would classify those thighs as "thick" rather than "fat" from the fact that they maintain a smooth curve to them rather than sagging, rolling or dimpling. plus they go with the size of the butts. otherwise the legs would look too thin by comparison.

ReplyDeleteThe game is nice but the limit to how much your character can take before obtaining a game over does hold things a bit back sometimes when trying to obtain a certain class for your character since certain enemies may appear and get in the way a lot for obtaining the requirements for that class.
It would also provide a new way to introduce new classes that would be exclusive to No Game Over Mode such as Slut class, Baby Maker class, and Stripper class.
Firstly, There is no hard set time limit, its only limit is by the cash you have left and the game ends when it ends, its a rouge like, if you lose it's because you didn't play carefully enough, Without a failure state it becomes a sandbox.. and the game isn't set up that way, the only point would be to have your character run around and get graped, while appealing would get old fast. Secondly, There is a baby maker class. Thirdly, The game makes you a slut(There is even a slut title). Fourthly how would a stripper class look?

DeleteIirc, aika wants to have "permadeath" in the complete game.
Currently, you faint when you die and "start over" with some stat adjustments. (most notably the "real body size" mechanic)
The only way to actually get a gameover is to faint while having zero Intelligence, iirc.
I think fainting after the time limit/cash runs out tells you that you can keep playing for now, but not in the final version.
I'm not 100% sure if aika wants fainting to always "game over" or only after cash runs out in the final version.
TL:DR: Since the game is still in beta development, you're actually getting "more sandbox" than you would with the finished product.
I am likely going to rework the game to instead of have a time limit, have a faint limit. So after, say, 4 faints or maybe 5, the game ends. I would then remove the slight stat penalty you get from fainting, and likely make it lower other bimbo stats slightly as well.
DeleteYorekani is right that the game is more sandbox now than it will be in the final version. But a 'no game over' mode is not out of the question with the new fainting model. What I can imagine is the game ending, the epilogue happening, you being given your score, and then you are asked if you want to keep playing in 'endless mode' or just quit / restart the game.
That would be perfect.

I just don't think that producing quality pics like this for every single variation of the player character is going to be feasible, assuming that the artist(s) have a finite lifespan. =^-^=
I'm hoping he will draw a couple of NPCs for me if I'm lucky, but these particularly images will not be in the game, no. They're much too specific - the player's body and outfit and hair colour changes all the time!

DeleteI also guess that, because it's supposed to be an attribute for bras, the game describes it as a BRA of absorption.
Considering it was a donation request, meaning this is a unique feature, it might be too much trouble to modify that text to be conditional.
That said, this might change in the future.
You taking recomendations for the private host?
ReplyDeleteIf so, I'd love to recommend Linode. They're a little more expensive than the other unmanaged hosts, but their hardware is reliable - you get what you pay for. The others I've used always had the whole sharing thing going behind the covers and worrying about neighbors in real life and on your system at the same time is an awful thing to go through. Another thing: Linode is unmanaged, but they have a really neat control panel that lets you do everything you'd need support for anyway. I've been using it for more than a year and I couldn't be happier.
Anyway. I don't know what kind of content you want to host, but the 2TB bandwidth at the $10/m plan should mostly suffice for the downloads. And 1gb ram is plenty with a good setup.
Linode's rules also appear to be "don't do anything illegal" and has no mention of adult content.
