Elixir of Life

Elixirs are small flasks full of a strong concoction that will give you a significant bonus for 20-30 turns.

The elixir of life is created from a green liquid and a fae mushroom (a new item found in the woods).  When drunk it changes you to a woman instantly if appropriate and impregnates you. Whilst active, if uncursed, it heals some soreness every couple of rounds, but if there is nothing to heal, it speeds up your pregnancy. The blessed version lasts a few rounds longer.

Drinking this elixir when already pregnant has potentially severe consequences. It increases your pregnancy rate (chance of conception and speed at which it grows) and is currently the only way to increase your pregnancy rate past the current limit. If you abuse these elixirs you could be churning out children so fast that you haven't even left the region with the father in it yet. Which would obviously hinder your ability to progress through the game.

Incidentally, pregnancy now happens a lot faster than it used to; it would take about a third of the game time to complete in the old version and that's been changed to about an eighth.  And that's without any increases to the rate.

  2. interesting. regeneration at the cost of pregnancy/ gender change. I think i would only use it in a boss fight though. are the babies chosen randomly or are they always a sex doll?

    1. I'm expecting barely any regen (or none) and massive pregnancy rate boost.

Seriously, I'll be doing most of these cursed just for the effects.

    2. As I said the healing only happens "while uncursed"

  5. Will drinking these potions affect the number of children produced?

  6. would this just be an easy way to wholesale reduce soreness if we are running without pregnancy fetish? or would the recipe even drop if the option isn't checked?

  7. "If appropriate"

So if TG and pregnancy is turned off it'll have no harmful side effects? Or do potions with fetish specifics downsides only show up with those fetishes on? Like the first potion with weight gain downside etc.

    1. The recipe won't appear if you don't have the relevant fetishes enabled

    2. Makes sense.

Minor thing, with all these crafting options, will the apothecary get marked on the map now?

    3. I hadn't thought about that but yes that's a good idea.

  8. I don't know if it's planned (or even possible), but it'd be interesting if some monsters force fed some of these potions. Maybe if your holes are busy when the monster reach you...

    1. Or when you're hopeless for a drink.
They would only provide cursed versions, for obvious reasons.

      Could be an interesting idea...
