Some of you may have previously obtained this from the vine boss. From now on you'll instead be able to get it through crafting. Crafting this requires a bra, a blue liquid and either two medium eggs or a stiletto heel depending on fetish selections.
The spike bra is the 2nd best bra in terms of the support it provides, after exercise bras. It also damages some enemies when they attack you, specifically those that slap or punch you in the breasts. Sex dolls pop immediately.
The bra will be created one size larger than your current breast size.
I've never seen one in game (never been able to beat the vine boss) - are they resistant to expansion like metal bras?
ReplyDeleteAlso, all crafted items thus far have had some manner of downside. I'm better there's something to the fact it's created one size too large. Also wondering about the dangers of wearing a spike bra with the inflation fetish on ;)
It's been a long time since I last wore one, so I don't know 100% if they prevent breast expansion like the metal bra, but I don't think so. It already has other good advantages going for it.
DeleteI'd say that sex dolls pop immediately is a bad thing. By the time you can create this bra (and let's be honest, sex dolls are the weakest monster, probably), sex dolls shouldn't be a real threat to you anymore. Getting covered in cum will humiliate you and attract other monsters. (afaik)
Also, keep in mind that some monsters may be immune to this (maybe, haven't tested), because the Gladiator, for example, uses her sword for attacking. The spikes shouldn't be able to hurt her. (I won't mind if they do, just saying)
Still worthwhile I would think. Mannequins, wenches, dolls, shopkeeper and the minotaur all use unarmed strikes (have not tested with spike bra though).

DeleteI don't suppose there are any plans to create an item that "locks" a hair color in place? Sort of like how head equipment prevents hair from reseting after fainting.

If there's no special reason for the bra being one size larger than current size, will the game take into account if we have breast size limited? So it would be created at the size limit if we've reached it instead of one larger, where it won't be possible to fill completely?
ReplyDeleteJust wondering Aika. Would it be possible to have a bra acquire an affix if you use the altar to curse it? Like say I have a normal KK cup exercise bra and I want to curse it. I use the altar and put it on, but it only becomes cursed, maybe if it could become a cursed exercise bra of milk production, temptation, etc. etc.?
